Hey there! My name is Carson Elizabeth Schirmer + I specialize in graphic design, web design, & painting murals while living on the Central Coast of California. I’ve done a fair share of creative work from the keyboard to the paint brush.

From around the age of 5, I knew I wanted to have a career in a creative field. I used to want to be an elementary teacher (when I was in elementary school) because I wanted to teach kids crafts all day. As I got older, my passion turned to fashion + I would spend hours sketching clothing designs. I even took a few online college courses with the Art Institute while I was in high school. Through those courses, I learned a lot about combining colors, textiles + creating a portfolio. I started to move more down the path of interior design because my bedroom had always been my outlet for creativity. I mean, I was constantly redesigning my bedroom with fresh paint, accent pieces + rearranging furniture every few months to keep myself inspired. Seriously, those walls have at least 20 layers of paint on them! I’ve taken many art classes + graphic design courses over the years + have countless hours of hands-on experience to fulfill my Certificate in Graphic Design.

Since graduating from college, I have continued to learn on my own. I watch videos on coding, research new techniques to achieve a certain look, or just watch other creators create! It’s amazing what you can learn by watching others, but the key is to just jump in + try it yourself! I love the freedom of graphic design where I can create, make mistakes, change, add, + start all over if needed before perfecting my design! With my imagination, artistic talent + digital training, I think I’ve found my place in the world.
